Inspired by the Devotional* display, this three-day lyric writing course at the National Portrait Gallery is led by performing artist Marshmello and rap artist BREIS, and will culminate in a public performance of the work at Devotional Soundscape.

Tickets are free and will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.

*Devotional: Portraits of Black Women Singers. This display celebrates Black female singers in British entertainment from the early 20th century onwards, and includes the photography of Kofi Allen, Albert Watson, Andy Earl and Bob Collins. Sonia Boyce has also installed a new rendition of the Series where she has inscribed 170 names of black female icons in British entertainment onto the walls.
